Crimson Fellow

New Zealand-based Edutech company Crimson Education was founded in 2013 from the idea that through personalised education, we can transform students into the world leaders of tomorrow. Since then, we have rapidly grown a mission-driven team that is dedicated to building the education system for the 22nd century. Our network includes 2,400 tutors and consultants worldwide who work with over 20,000 students.
Our tech platform connects tutors and mentors to high school students aiming to achieve admission and scholarships to top universities in the US, Canada, UK, and beyond.
What is the Crimson Fellowship Program?
The Crimson Fellowship Program is targeted at fresh grads from Top 20 US schools to come join us for a 2-year fellowship program where they learn various functions of the Strategy Department, with the goal of Crimson Fellows ultimately joining us as full-time strategists at the end of their fellowship. The next batch of Crimson Fellows will begin their 2-year journey in August 2022.
What this role is responsible for:
Crimson Fellows will be mentored by our Strategy Consultants, who are exemplars of Crimson Education’s philosophy who are dedicated to making a difference in students’ lives, helping bridge gaps between present and future goals by personalizing blueprints that will become the basis of all academic, extracurricular and personal development.
Your task as a Crimson Fellow is to work closely with students and their other Crimson tutors, mentors and consultants. Primary client-facing responsibilities include the following: driving progress through long-term roadmaps, offering a perspective into US higher education, and mentoring through the candidacy building and application processes. You will be mentored throughout this whole process.
Regarding application work, Crimson Fellows will assist in the development of students’ narratives, including the thematic direction of application essays. Students will have additional direct support from Application Mentors who own the responsibilities of essay consultation (brainstorms, revisions) and interview preparation.
With each case that one oversees in this role, a Crimson Fellow is entrusted with the highest level of autonomy and accountability. Crimson Fellows are thus held to the highest standards of integrity; maintain utmost responsibility in managing students’ goals and plans; and contribute to the professional development of the self and of the team.
