EU Sales and Business Development Executive

Our ed-tech platform connects tutors and mentors to high school students aiming to achieve admission and scholarships to top universities in the US, Canada, UK and beyond.
This is a full-time, flexible role, with some attendance at the London office.
The purpose of this role is to drive sales and business development across our EU markets.
1. Sales:
Identify and interact with prospective customers, who are both students and parents/guardians, by:
- Conducting consultations and academic assessments
- Presenting Crimson products
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships
- Continuously improving sales techniques and industry knowledge
- Pitching and ideating new ways to connect with families
- Forging partnerships with associated businesses, non-profits, organizations, and more
- Working with the Local Area and Digital Marketing Teams to develop/enhance lead generation methods by identifying opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in leads and sales
- Engaging in outreach activities such as presenting at school talks, careers expos, and Crimson seminars
- Researching potential organizations and markets for lead generation/partnerships
- Attending industry events where relevant and provide feedback and information on market trends
2. Business Development:
- Work under direction of the UK Country Manager to prospect, build and maintain strong relationships with new B2B partners across our European territories in order to generate new leads.
- Deliver strong pitches to prospective partners either in person or online, with the support of the UK Country Manager.
- Work collaboratively with partner organisations to plan and deliver on outreach initiatives such as webinars and bespoke content.
- Maintain a regular cadence of email and telephone communication with partners so as to strengthen relationships and ultimately increase the volume of leads generated through them.
- Go above and beyond in ensuring that stakeholders understand the value of Crimson’s mission and services developing strong and trusting relationships with stakeholders.
- Take a leading role in ensuring the wider UK team contributes to the strategy for and successful execution of B2B referral initiatives.
- Provide regular progress reports to management and wider team.
Essential Requirements:
- University-level education
- Strong French and Spanish or Italian language proficiency is a requirement of this role
- English fluency
- At least two years experience in a sales and business development role
- Strong storytelling skill and experience public speaking
- Interest in working with families and students to connect them to the best program
- An interest in changing the world through education!
- Comfort with video chat and speaking over the phone
Experience that would be useful in this role:
- Experience with higher education or a deep understanding of the college application process
- Salesforce
- Understanding of the US/UK undergraduate application process
