Our tech platform connects 3000 tutors/mentors to students aiming to achieve admission and scholarships to top universities or their dream career pathway.
We have built a mission-driven Marketing team that is passionate about expanding our student reach. This role offers limitless exposure to the world of Marketing. This is a full-time position, that can be worked remotely or in our London office.
What this role is responsible for:
This role is responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in ensuring effective local area marketing through event management, content creation, localisation and digital targeting.
Some responsibilities may include:
End-to-end management of online and offline events, including:
Sourcing and booking speakers.
Creating and managing all event registration pages, ensuring timely and effective communication with registrants before and after events.
Producing compelling, market-specific copy for ads.
Preparing appropriate marketing materials for all events and planning and ordering promotional items.
Maintaining a presence at events, along with the wider team (includes some weekend hours, 1-2 events per quarter).
Booking venues, speakers and videographers and negotiating rates as appropriate.
Digital Marketing Support
Conversant and creative content writing to promote events and services, in liaison with the Marketing Manager and digital team.
Support in localising global campaigns and other marketing materials as necessary.
Support in the execution of effective email campaigns and report on performance.
Proactively support the Marketing Manager in the delivery of marketing plan activities.
Work with wider marketing teams to create messaging, assets, and branding that successfully engage target UK audiences.
Generating new marketing ideas and initiatives.
How you’ll know you’re crushing it:
Marketing revenue targets are achieved, consistently on a monthly basis.
Strong ROI across all marketing channels.
High engagement of stakeholders.
Consistent tracking, reporting, knowledge sharing, and rapid iteration.
What skills and experience you’ll need:
2-3 years of experience working in a marketing capacity.
Outstanding written English skills.
Experience in events management (desirable).
Good understanding of the functions of digital marketing.
Previous experience with digital marketing campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and Google Ads.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work at a pace to get things done.
Proven high level of organisational skill.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to productively and efficiently collaborate with teams remotely.
Familiarity with UK school and university landscape
Basic understanding of the UK and US university admissions process
