Content and Campaign Specialist

This role is responsible for writing content to be used for Crimson Education’s website and various campaign and marketing materials. The Content Writer will create copy consistent with Crimson’s tone and brand voice, with a focus on Crimson’s target audience in the education industry.This is a full-time position, that can be worked remotely or in one of our many offices around the globe.
What are the main responsibilities for this role?
- Effectively contribute to Crimson marketing content including blogs, website pages, landing pages, case studies, emails, flyers, eBooks, etc.
- Create copy for HQ campaigns to be adapted and utilized by 23+ markets around the world
- Review and edit campaigns submitted by local marketing managers in a timely manner, ensuring that all campaigns are in alignment with Crimson's brand guidelines and tone of voice
What success looks like?
- Creation of authentic, well-researched content covering a wide range of topics including college admissions news, application tips, extracurriculars, personal essays, interviews, test prep and Crimson announcements
- Brainstorming content ideas around newsworthy events, cultural triggers, holidays and observances, and Crimson campaigns and events
- Integrating written content with content across other channels including social and video
- Using marketing and website programs to independently upload content to Crimson’s website
What skills and experience are required?
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- The ability to understand and adopt Crimson’s messaging and writing style
- Adaptability: working quickly but creatively and meeting content quality and quantity KPIs
- Strong time management skills to ensure reliability, responsiveness and timely delivery of tasks despite working with an entirely remote team
- Knowledge of the US and/or UK university application processes a plus, but not required
- Prior experience in the college admissions content space a plus, but not required
