This is a full-time position, based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

This role empowers students and parents from an early stage to ensure that considerations are being made around potential career and university pathways, both nationally and internationally.

What success looks like:

+Making students more aware of atypical international and national study and career opportunities related to their academic interests.
+ Initiating, organising and executing regular workshops for students and parents to attend to teach more about undergraduate local and international opportunities.
+ Ensuring students have regular expert support from the Crimson network.
+ Building relationships with parents to understand parental expectations for university and career strategy.
+ Writing high quality recommendations for students applying to universities, residential halls, scholarships and specialised local programmes.
+ Tracking student tertiary successes and using quantitative data analysis to establish trends in student achievement.
+ Establish programs, trip, and coordinate activities that contribute towards greater understanding of global opportunities post high school.
+ Building relationships with national and international stakeholders to optimize student results.
+ Leveraging the Crimson network to provide high quality resources to students at the partner school.

What skills and experience you’ll need:

• Graduated from a Top US University, Ivy League strongly preferred
• Passion for coaching young adults and appreciation of global perspectives
• Superior planning and organisational skills; experience in project management, event coordination, and product management a plus
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Resilience when working independently under pressure
• Experience in education, coaching, tutoring, and admissions consulting preferred
