Accounts Coordinator

This is a full-time position, that will be based in our Auckland, New Zealand office.
What are the main responsibilities for this role?
End to end ownership of the day-to-day Accounts Receivable processes for Crimson’s entities. This includes:
Set Up New Accounts
- Assist with creating new customer accounts
- Set up new customer information in the accounting system (Xero)
- Set up instalment plans within Salesforce and Stripe
Handle Invoices and Statements
- Creating accurate invoices for customer purchases
- Sending customer statements out when required
Process Payments
- Process payments and update customer invoices and account information to indicate receipts via bank transfer and credit card
- This can require working with other departments to handle concerns such as bounced payments
Resolve Billing Issues
- When customers do not pay their invoices on time, assist the collections process by coordinating with and calling the client; in addition to communicating with internal stakeholders where required
- Engage collection agencies as needed
- Help answer questions customers have about their charges and help error-check the customer’s account data
Create Financial Reports
- Create and maintain debtors ageing reports for monthly analysis
- Assistance on the annual audit on debtor related queries
What skills and experience are required?
- Highly-organised with the ability to follow through on tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to make judgements and decisions on confidential matters
- Skills to plan and manage complex administrative systems and practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and capable of communicating with individuals at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Understanding and confidence in using specific systems and programmes, including MS Office Suite, Google, Salesforce and Xero
- Problem solver who take ownership of delivering the solutions
- High learning agility and the ability to study and understand relevant legislation, both in New Zealand and globally
- Strong attention to detail
- Discretion
